Our Youth ministry is raising young men and women who want to be used by God! Our youth ministry is convinced to follow the ways of God. There is so much that goes on in the world, in tv, in schools, in everywhere our youth go. They can be easily convinced by so much pressure but they choose to live a life different from the norm. That's why our youth ministry is called DV8, its a "cool" way of saying Deviate. Deviate means to go against the norm. So while everyone conitnues to follow the crowd, our youth are learning to stay stong in the Lord! Our youth have some amazing things to do:
Sunday & Thursday Events
Our youth have their own events the same time that our church has services. So the whole family can experience the Word of God in their own way. In these events the youth have bible studies and other activities.
Fellowship Activities
The youth love to get together and do fun things! From watching a movie to going bowling or simply to just meet at the church and play some volleyball, there is always plenty of opportunities to get together and have some fun.
Youth Conferences and Camps
The youth several times a year will plan on attending various special services, camps, conferences that are in our state. This is a great time to not only grow as a group but also meet hundreds of other youth who are on fire for God like them!
Light in the Dark Event
The youth host an event during our EasterCelebration week where they bring the message of Christ in a relevant way. It's a great event of 3-3 Basketball, Concert, Food and of course Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt! The Hunt not only passes out amazing big prizes but also speaks a powerful teaching of seeking out Christ.
