Who We Are

Were more than a church on Sundays! Were more than a church building! Were the family of God with a purpose to reach out to our community! Here is our Motto, Focus, Mission, Goal, Plan, Values and Passion.
Motto: Passionate for God, Compassionate for His People.
2009 Focus: Restore, Battle, Outpour
Mission: To help our church family grow in God's purpose and to reach the
unbelieving so that all of us can become true followers of Christ.
Goal: .5 in 5! To Reach .5% population of Benton & Franklin County by 2015.
Our Plan: To Worship!
So How Do We Worship at BWC? With Everything we do!
Belong: You were formed for God's Family. (Ephesians 1:5)
Grow: You were created to be like Christ. (Ephesians 4:24)
Serve: You were shaped for serving God. (Job 10:8a)
Reach: You were made for a mission. (John 20:21)
Core Values:
To Be Relational: We encourage BWCers to be real, so we can have real
relationships. 2 Cor. 6:11, "We have spoken openly to you, our heart is wide
open."
To Be Influential: We were meant to be infectious in our influence. Matthew
5:16, "In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your
good deeds and praise your Father in heaven."
To Live By Faith: Everyone has some faith, the question is, are you living it?
Romans 1:17, "For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith;
as it is written, "the just shall live by faith."
Our Passion:
"BWC started with and will continue to be "Passionate for God, Compassionate
for His People." Our vision is to reach the lost, the wounded and even the
untouchables. We strive to live our lives the Great Commission Way. Always
knowing there is an opportunity to spread the Word of God. We will nurture,
build and make disciples of God. We will be a friendly church with hands
extending out not discriminating anybody. Forgiveness will be a common act that
is practiced amongst our congregation. For only true love and true fellowship
must contain forgiveness. We will respect one another but most importantly love
each other. We will be more than a church, we will be a family."
